Microsoft Dynamics CRM is backed
by history of successful product releases and worldwide unique implementation
of CRM. There are many products as “CRM” with extensive gap in architecture, functionality,
complexity, adaptability and flexibility. The aim of this blog is not to celebrate the
fact that Microsoft Dynamics CRM is more than product nor scribe merely some
dates. Its content can be used by Administrators/System Engineers for upgrade/deployment
process or it can also be used by Business mangers to decide Dynamics CRM is
the right CRM for the company. Selecting
the CRM that is right for your business can be a challenge and requires carefully
defined criteria. I have listed only four of so many qualities that make
Microsoft Dynamics the right choice of CRM. Please note that listing all MSDYN
criteria is out of scope of this blog.
1)
Stable product (better to say "CLOUD") please look at the release dates.
Officially Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be 11 Years old on 01/01/2014.
2)
International Language support : Currently
it supports 41 language
3)
Continuous Technical support: Microsoft will
give at least 10 years of online self-help support for its products. The
Microsoft Support Lifecycle (MSL) policy for Dynamics CRM is compiled
below. Microsoft started with the official product name "Microsoft
Business Solutions Customer Relationship Management 1.0" or CRM 1.0.
Starting the V-3 it added the beloved title Dynamics and joined other Microsoft
ERP business solutions.
4)
Number of Total Update Rollups : These are only
the total count of official released update rollups. Microsoft
rollups contains tested, cumulative set of hotfixes, security
updates, critical updates, and updates that are packaged together for easy
deployment. A rollup generally targets a specific area, such as security, or a
component of a product, such as Internet Information Services (IIS).
